In 1980, he returned to Chilliwack to join his father at Fortin's Supply Ltd. Seven years later he entered into a contract to buy the business. Jeff has also served on the Board and was Chair of Auto Sense-Canada' s largest auto/industrial buying co-op (240 stores). He is a member of both the Chilliwack Rotary Club and the Chamber of Commerce.
